Having had a few driving instructors over the years, I never felt confident enough to take my test and the truth be known did not really enjoy my driving lessons. My friends kepy telling me I need to drive to improve my career options. I started lessons with Derrick and all that change, his relaxed attitude and friendly personality made me feel at ease in the car, he also had the utmost patients with me even though I have a habit of asking the same questions over and over again he was always happy to explain nothing was a problem to him. He has a great way of always taking the positive out of a lesson and the way he teaches makes you more confident. I am pleased to say I have passed my test first time with only two minors and that is thanks to Derrick.I strongly belive if it was not for Derrick and his superb teaching I would not have passed or even gone in for my test, so for that I thankyou Derrick I will always be greatful to you. Learning to drive with Derrick Stewart was a real pleasure and I couldn't of asked for a more patient, friendly and caring driving instructor. Even when i'm sure I tested his patience, he remained calm and always reassured me.

I am really glad that I had the opportunity to begin to learn to drive with him. I say begin to learn because Derrick says that it's only possible to teach you the basics of driving - in order to pass, but he can't give you the experiance that comes in time.

I believe this to be true, however, I believe in order to gain experiance, you need a quality driving instructor who is capable of teaching you the basics, and teaching you well. I think you need this in order to learn anything worthwhile by yourself.

Derrick is a quality person and a brilliant driving instructor and would reccommend him to anyone!

Learning to drive many years ago was one thing, but re-training to drive in a new country was another experience for me. D-Drive equipped me with all the skills and resources I needed to pass my driving tests in one sitting in the month of November 2008. Initially, I was a bit nervous because I was only familiar with the left-hand drive system. However Derrick equipped me well and I gained the confidence to get it right the first time. His driving sessions were carried out in a relaxed atmosphere which always get the best out of anyone. I defiantly would recommend him to anyone that I know who requires driving assistance.

I took driving lessons with Derrick Stewart after I had passed the practical test, but had not driven for the following six months. Derrick tailored the lessons to my needs and I was able to combine the 'refresher' course with gaining a pass plus certificate. I found Derrick to very reliable and supportive. He helped me to improve the areas of my driving in which I was less confident, and he went out of his way to provide helpful advice while I was adjusting to driving the new car i had just bought.
